24+ Amazon listings sell TRIP's drinks under another seller's brand, in TRIP's photos

At least 24 Amazon.co.uk listings for TRIP cans name a third-party seller, Seller A, as brand and manufacturer. They run on TRIP's own campaign images, and the main photo shows a box printed with Seller A's logo. Other TRIP listings carry at least three more brand names, and one asks £110.04 for 12 cans. On Amazon.com, some third-party offers sit up to 61% above the seller named 'TRIP Store'. TRIP, the UK maker of magnesium and adaptogen drinks, has no lookalike shop: every TRIP-name domain we reached was linked to TRIP or parked. Because 'trip' is an everyday word, we anchored the check on TRIP's product names and official photos.

Seller A is the brand on TRIP's Tropical Mango cans

Takedown's exact-image scan found TRIP's official Tropical Mango and Raspberry Orange photos on more than a dozen Amazon.co.uk listings. Many are TRIP's own. Several are not. The listing 'TRIP Tropical Mango Sparkling Drink 250ml (Pack of 12)' reads 'Brand: Seller A' under its title. Seller A is also named as manufacturer, shipper and seller. It costs £18.99, or £32.99 for 24 cans. TRIP charges £24 and £48 for the same sizes on its own site, before subscription discounts.

That listing heads a family of 19: 11 flavour names in two sizes. Three of the flavours, Cucumber Mint, Elderflower and Peach Ginger, are not on TRIP's UK site today. We opened 5 more TRIP listings and found Seller A as the brand on every one: a 48-can Tropical Mango pack at £58.99, a six-can pack at £9.99, an 'Ultimate Sampler', a mixed 12-pack at £19.99 and a variety pack described as 'CBD Infused & Functional'. The 48-can offer came from a different seller.

The photos are TRIP's. 2 of the 7 on the Tropical Mango listing match TRIP's product-page images at image-hash distances of 2 and 3 out of 192. The main image shows TRIP's Tropical Mango can beside a 12-can tray and a shipping box printed with Seller A's logo. This article's 99% similarity figure comes from the closer of the two matches; the Amazon listing has no scanner visual score. We placed no order and cannot say what Seller A ships. We have no evidence the cans are anything other than genuine TRIP stock.

Buyers see TRIP in the title. Amazon's brand field says Seller A.

What we caught

01 · Seller A owns the brand fieldAmazon.co.uk · Seller A

A 12-pack titled 'TRIP Tropical Mango Sparkling Drink' names Seller A as brand, manufacturer and seller. Its variant menu covers 11 flavour names in 12- and 24-can sizes, 19 available listings in all. We confirmed 5 more Seller A-branded TRIP listings, including 48-can and sampler packs.

02 · TRIP's campaign shots, hash-matchedAmazon.co.uk · Seller A

2 of the 7 images on the Tropical Mango listing are TRIP's own campaign images from drink-trip.com, at image-hash distances of 2 and 3 out of 192. The main image puts TRIP's can next to a shipping box printed with Seller A's logo.

03 · 12 cans for £110.04Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com

Seller B lists 12 cans of Wild Strawberry at £110.04, about 4.6 times TRIP's £24. On Amazon.com, third-party offers of $54.95 to $57.95 sit on 12-pack listings where 'TRIP Store' charges $35.88 to $35.99.

04 · 5 new .xyz names, all parkedDomain sweep and certificate logs

tripdrinks.co, tripdrinks.co.uk, drink-trip.co.uk and tripdrinks.fr appear to be TRIP's own. The rest were parked, for sale, suspended or offline. 5 .xyz names, including drinktrip.xyz and tripdrinks.xyz, were registered between 8 and 18 September 2026 through one registrar and show only a parking page.

No lookalike shop. Four domains appear to be TRIP's, and five new .xyz names are parked.

One seller asks 4.6 times TRIP's price

Seller A is one of several non-TRIP brands on TRIP listings. In one Amazon.co.uk search for TRIP's Mindful Blend drinks, the listings without TRIP as brand showed Seller A, 'Generic', a reseller's own label and Seller B's store. Seller B's 'TRIP Mindful Blend Wild Strawberry Soft Drink 250ml | Case of 12' costs £110.04, or £9.17 a can. TRIP sells the same 12 cans for £24 on its site, and its own Amazon 12-packs started at £13.50 in the same search.

On Amazon.com, TRIP's US drinks are listed as 'TRIP Calm Drink', and our scan collected every offer on each listing. On the Melon Cucumber 12-pack, the seller named 'TRIP Store' charges $35.99 and three other sellers ask $54.95 to $57.95, up to 61% more. On Elderflower Mint, a second offer is $54.95 against TRIP Store's $35.88. On Peach Ginger, Amazon itself sells at $40.48 and two third-party offers ask $57.95. We have no evidence any of these offers are counterfeit. The gap is price.

An eBay seller still sells TRIP CBD oils TRIP no longer lists

Two eBay.co.uk searches, for TRIP's Mindful Blend range and for TRIP CBD drinks, returned more than 100 listings for TRIP products. Most are ordinary resale: gummies, powders and 12-can mixed packs, mostly priced £15.95 to £24.99. Several titles state the best-before date. No listing called itself a replica or misspelled TRIP's name.

One CBD seller still sells TRIP-branded CBD products that TRIP's own shop no longer lists, including 'TRIP CBD Oil Dream Drops 3000mg' at £52.50, with nine sold, plus TRIP CBD oils in Orange Blossom and Wild Mint. Archived pages from TRIP's site include Dream Drops product pages, so the product name is genuine. We cannot tell how old this stock is or how it was stored. For an ingestible CBD product, the buyer can't tell from the listing either.

No lookalike shop, 5 parked .xyz names

Our domain sweep and certificate-log searches on drinktrip, drink-trip and tripdrink names found no lookalike shop. tripdrinks.co runs a TRIP storefront with the same company number as drink-trip.com and, for most products, the same prices. tripdrinks.co.uk and drink-trip.co.uk point to drink-trip.com, and tripdrinks.fr is a French TRIP landing page. tripdrink.com, tripdrinks.com, drinktrip.de, drinktrip.co.uk, tripcbd.com and tripofficial.com showed parking, advertising or for-sale pages. tripdrink.org showed a hosting company's 'domain suspended' page. The 5 .xyz names registered this September, drinktrip.xyz, tripdrink.xyz, tripdrinks.xyz, tripdrinking.xyz and tripdrinketh.xyz, share one registrar and a parking page. They may not be aimed at TRIP. They are the names to monitor.

The scanner's Alibaba, AliExpress, Temu, TikTok and ads checks returned nothing about TRIP, only the everyday word: travel bags and circuit-breaker 'trip units'. Four Amazon.co.uk listings that carried TRIP's photos under titles without the TRIP name, such as '120mg Magnesium with Lion's Mane, Chamomile & Lemon Balm', returned 'page not found' when we opened them. An exact-image search also found one TRIP product page on an unrelated website, which returned 'not found' when we checked.

How to shut it down

The takedown plan, step by step, built from the evidence above.

1

Get Seller A off the brand field

Ask Amazon to correct brand and manufacturer on Seller A's TRIP listings, starting with the 19-listing Tropical Mango family. Then you decide the titles, images and flavour names buyers see.

2

Report the reused campaign images

Send Amazon the matching drink-trip.com files for Seller A's galleries, and ask for the main image with Seller A's box to be replaced.

3

Flag the £110.04 case and US markups

Track listings priced far from yours, like the £110.04 case and the Amazon.com offers up to 61% above TRIP Store. Ask Amazon to review any that look like pricing errors or price gouging.

4

Monitor the 5 .xyz names

Watch the parked .xyz domains registered in September for a shop or mail setup. Publish which domains and stockists are TRIP's own.

TRIP's listings are filed under other brands

On Amazon.co.uk, a buyer sees 'TRIP' in the title and TRIP's campaign images. The brand field names a reseller that also puts its own logo in the main photo.

Listings outside TRIP's brand can carry flavours TRIP no longer lists and prices it wouldn't charge. CBD stock TRIP's own shop no longer sells is still moving on eBay. When a buyer is unhappy with any of it, the bad review names TRIP.
