How it works
- Takedown scans for copies of the brand: copycat stores and lookalike domains, marketplace listings, social media accounts using the brand name, ads using the brand, and new US trademark filings in the brand's goods classes.
- A person on Takedown's team checks every match and attaches the evidence: screenshots, the listing or page, and for websites the domain's DNS and registration records.
- The brand approves or dismisses each case in its dashboard. Nothing is filed in the brand's name until it approves.
- Takedown's team files the report with the platform, and for websites with the host and the registrar, then follows the case until it closes.
