Takedown Research
Scam breakdowns.
We point our scanners at well-known brands, then publish what we find: fake storefronts, copied listings, paid ads, and impersonating accounts, side by side with the real thing.
New breakdown every Tuesday

2 fake Mous stores list 746 cases and accessories, most at 65% off, with Mous's own photos
mouscases.shop and mousstore.shop copy Mous's catalogue, product names and studio photos, and mark most items 65% off. Their contact pages send customers to a Mous email address. 6 more lookalike domains registered in 2026 lead to closed shops.

A fake 'Withings Official Store' sells the $369.95 ScanWatch 2 for $210, built from Amazon
withingscare.com calls itself the Withings Official Store and sells ScanWatches, scales and blood pressure monitors at 33% to 60% of US prices, under names lifted from Amazon. Separately, 72 hacked websites serve Withings pages, some forwarding to shops selling every watch for €53.
How this series is made
We follow the evidence
Each brand in this series is selected because it is recognisable and heavily copied. The findings come from what our scanners surface, not from a prepared brief.
The scanner does the research
The same engine our customers use runs the sweep: reverse image matching, certificate monitoring, ad library sweeps, and handle collision checks.
We preserve the evidence
Every report is built from timestamped source and target captures, domain records, storefront signals, and a side-by-side visual assessment.
Scan your own brand
Curious what a breakdown of your brand would say?
Run the same sweep on your own catalogue. You get every match found, how convincing each one is, and the order we would remove them in.
