Counterfeit listing removal on Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop and more

Takedown searches the marketplaces where copies of consumer brands turn up (Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Alibaba, Temu and TikTok Shop), matches listings against your products and photos, and has a person confirm each one. Once you approve, we report them through each marketplace's own intellectual property process with your registrations and evidence attached.

What we remove

Marketplaces we search

MarketplaceWhat we search
Amazonamazon.com, .co.uk, .de and .fr by default, with further European stores on request.
eBayebay.com, .co.uk, .de and .fr.
AliExpress and AlibabaProduct listings, including wholesale suppliers.
TemuProduct listings.
TikTok ShopProduct listings.
Anywhere else your photos appearGoogle Lens exact matches on your product images, which also surface DHgate, Walmart, SHEIN and other sites where your photos are reused.

Name searches miss copies that never mention your brand, so matching on your own product photos matters as much as matching on your name. Your own seller accounts and authorised resellers go on an allowlist so they are never reported.

How removal works

  1. 1

    We verify each listing

An analyst checks that the listing is a copy or misuses your photos, not an authorised reseller or a genuine second-hand sale, and records the evidence.

  2. 2

    You approve

You see each confirmed listing with its evidence and approve or dismiss it. Nothing is filed without your approval.

  3. 3

We file through the marketplace's own process

Each marketplace has its own route: eBay's VeRO programme, Amazon's Report Infringement form and Brand Registry, TikTok Shop's IP Protection Center and the equivalents on AliExpress, Alibaba and Temu. We choose the right claim type (counterfeit, trademark or copyright) because the wrong one is the most common reason a report is rejected.

  4. 4

    We re-check and follow up

Removed listings tend to come back under new sellers. We check for relistings and chase reports that stall.

Why the claim type decides the outcome

Marketplaces reject a share of reports, and the most common avoidable reason is filing the wrong kind of claim. Each marketplace also checks that your rights are valid in the country of the store: a trademark registered only in the UK will not support a report on amazon.com.

What the listing doesClaimWhat it needs
Sells fake goods under your brandCounterfeitA registered trademark in that market (on amazon.com, a federally registered mark), and often a test buy
Uses your name or logo on other goodsTrademarkThe registration number for that market
Uses your product photos or descriptionsCopyrightYour original photos or text, with where they were first published. No registration needed
Sells genuine goods below your priceNoneMarketplaces do not enforce pricing or distribution agreements, so these reports are rejected

Rejections cost more than time. Amazon warns that repeated inaccurate notices can remove your ability to report, and its Project Zero programme requires a 90% acceptance rate to join. That is why every listing is checked by a person and filed under the claim the evidence supports, not the one that sounds strongest.

What you need to provide

  • Your trademark registration numbers (UKIPO, EUIPO, USPTO or others), or proof that you own the photos for copyright claims.
  • A letter of authorisation so we can file on your behalf. It takes a few minutes to sign.
  • A list of your own seller accounts and authorised resellers, so they are excluded.

Counterfeit claims are stronger with a test buy that proves the product is fake, and some marketplaces expect one. Copyright claims over your photos usually do not need one. Our Takedown Evidence Checklist shows what each platform asks for.

Who this is for

Consumer brands whose products are copied on marketplaces, whether or not they sell there themselves. It fits brands with a registered trademark in at least one market and no one in-house with the time to search marketplaces and file reports every week.

Frequently asked questions

Can you remove counterfeits if we don't sell on Amazon?

Yes. You do not need to sell on a marketplace to report infringement there. Amazon's Report Infringement form is for rights owners and their agents and only needs a signed-in Amazon account. Brand Registry adds more tools but needs a registered trademark, or a pending application filed through Amazon's IP Accelerator. On amazon.com, a counterfeit claim specifically needs a federally registered trademark.

What about genuine products resold by others?

Reselling genuine goods is generally allowed, so we do not report authorised or second-hand sellers of real products. We report listings that are fake, misuse your photos or misrepresent the product.

Do you need a test buy for every listing?

No. Test buys are for counterfeit claims where the listing alone does not prove the goods are fake. Listings that copy your photos or use your logo on lookalike goods can usually be reported on the listing evidence.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on the number of brands and platforms covered. Start with a free 360° report and you will get a quote along with it.

Hand it over

Want someone to find the copies and file the reports for you?

Takedown monitors storefronts, marketplaces and social platforms, a person checks every match, and nothing is filed until you approve it. Start with a free 360° report on your brand.
