The best Amazon brand protection services and tools in 2026
Start with Amazon's own tools: Brand Registry, Report a Violation and Project Zero are free if you have a registered trademark. Add a service when you cannot keep up with searching and filing yourself. Self-serve tools (IP Moat from $105/month, Brand Protector $199/month, IPzest from $148/month) find listings and help you file. Start with Amazon's own tools
Amazon Brand Registry
sell.amazon.com/brand-registry- Needs
- An active registered trademark, or a pending application filed through Amazon's IP Accelerator.
- Includes
- Report a Violation for IP, policy and regulatory issues; Project Zero once you qualify; Transparency serial codes as a paid add-on.
- Who files
- You, or a Registered Agent you add.
- Price
- Free. Transparency codes are paid per code.
Where it wins: it is free, it is Amazon's own process, and Project Zero lets qualifying brands remove counterfeit listings themselves without filing a report. To qualify you need to have used Report a Violation in the last six months with at least a 90% acceptance rate, and you must keep 99% accuracy to stay in.
Limitations: it does not find the listings for you, it only covers Amazon, and every notice is your work. Without Brand Registry you can still use Amazon's Report Infringement form, but reporting a specific offer needs a test buy, and counterfeit reports need a registered trademark.
Most of the services below file through these same channels. What you pay them for is finding the listings, building the evidence, choosing the right claim type and keeping your acceptance rate high.
Self-serve tools with published prices
IP Moat
ipmoat.ai- Amazon coverage
- Amazon, plus eBay, Etsy, Alibaba, AliExpress, Walmart, Temu, TikTok Shop and more on Premium.
- Model
- Self-service, with staff handling marketplace objections, escalations and resubmissions.
- Price

Where it wins: the cheapest way to cover Amazon alone, and a Shopify catalogue import so your images are ready to match.
Limitations: removals are capped per plan, and covering Amazon plus other marketplaces moves you to Premium.

ipzest.app/pricing- Amazon coverage
- Amazon, eBay, Etsy and other marketplaces, plus social and ad monitoring.
- Model
- Self-serve; managed filings included from the Business plan.
- Price
- Professional $148/month, Business $398/month (3 managed filings a month), Intelligence $898/month. 14-day free trial with no card.
Where it wins: a no-card trial, so you can see what it finds on Amazon before paying.
Limitations: few managed filings are included, and extra managed removals are charged individually on the middle plans.
Brand Protector
app.brandprotector.io- Amazon coverage
- Amazon among 16 surfaces, including Walmart, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop, Temu and lookalike domains.
- Model
- Self-serve. Nothing is filed until you sign it off, and some platforms need you to finish the filing.

Where it wins: a flat price with unlimited volume, built by a founder for his own supplement brand, and trademark-filing watch on the USPTO and EUIPO included.

Managed services that file for you
Bustem

MarqVision
marqvision.com- Amazon coverage
- Marketplaces, including Amazon.
- Model
- Managed enforcement, with MarqLaw for legal escalation and trademark management.
- Price
- Not published.
Where it wins: marketplace enforcement and trademark management together, with legal support for sellers who will not stop.
Limitations: no public price, and its client list leans towards larger brands.
Takedown (our service)
trytakedown.com/services/counterfeit-listing-removal- Amazon coverage
- amazon.com, .co.uk, .de and .fr by default, plus Google Lens matches for your product photos wherever they appear.
- Model
- Managed. A person checks every listing, you approve, our team files through Amazon's process with your registrations attached.
- Price
- Not published. Month to month.
Where it wins: matching on your own product photos, which catches copies that never use your brand name. Our Kitsch case found 37 lookalike listings, 18 of them with the logo removed or swapped, and the TRIP case found 24+ listings selling under another seller's brand in TRIP's photos.
Limitations: a newer service, covering four Amazon stores by default rather than every one, with no published price. We do not offer trademark-filing watch.
How to choose
- Register your trademark first. Without it you cannot use Brand Registry or file counterfeit claims, and every option on this list gets weaker.
- Try Amazon's tools for a month. If you can keep up with Report a Violation yourself, you may not need anyone else.
- Count the hours. Once searching and filing takes more than a few hours a week, a self-serve tool pays for itself. When you would rather not review matches at all, look at managed services.
- Protect your acceptance rate. Ask any vendor how they choose claim types and test buys. Rejected notices count against you, including for Project Zero.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Amazon brand protection tool?
For most brands with a registered trademark, Amazon's own Brand Registry comes first because it is free and gives you Report a Violation and, later, Project Zero. A service on top makes sense when you cannot keep up with finding and filing yourself.
Do I need Brand Registry to remove counterfeits on Amazon?
No. The Report Infringement form is open to rights owners and their agents with an Amazon account, though counterfeit claims on amazon.com need a federally registered trademark and reports about specific offers need a test buy.
How much do Amazon brand protection services cost?
Published prices start at $105/month (IP Moat, one marketplace), $148/month (IPzest) and $199/month (Brand Protector), checked on 4 October 2026. Managed services quote on request.
Can a service file on my behalf?
Yes. In Brand Registry you can add a Registered Agent, and agents can also use the Report Infringement form with your authorisation.
