2 fake Rivedroite stores sell its bags at up to 70% off, one since December 2024

Two stores sell under Rivedroite Paris's name that the brand does not run. rivedroitebags.com copies its US store in English and dollars, and has been online since December 2024. rivedroiteparisstore.shop copies the French store, down to the logo file, and advertises up to 70% off. We found both in a sweep of more than 6,300 name and extension combinations. The upcycled-bag maker sells through its own French and US sites. On marketplaces we found resale listings and no counterfeit or wholesale listings.

The US copy has run since December 2024

rivedroitebags.com was registered on 31 December 2024 and was online the same day, per the earliest public scan we found. Its header carries the Rivedroite Paris logo over the words Rive Droite Bags, and its title promises a Rivedroite Paris Clearance Sale. Menus, product names and descriptions come from Rivedroite's US store: collections like Fall 24, products like Darcy the Anti Diaper Bag and Vivienne the 13" Laptop Sleeve.

Every price is in dollars and marked down. The midnight blue Darcy, $180 and sold out on the official US store, is listed at $82 against a crossed-out $145.60. Sale prices across the catalogue run from $24.96 to $100. The policy pages are template filler: the terms say the site is operated by Our Company, and the returns page still opens with This is a sample page.

Rivedroite's US store has the Darcy sold out at $180. The copy lists it in stock at $82.

What we caught

01 · US product photos, liftedrivedroitebags.com product pages

The Darcy diaper bag page uses the official US store's photo of the midnight blue Darcy. Exact-image search matched it to the US product page, with perceptual hashes 4 bits apart out of 64. The description is copied word for word.

02 · 52 names, 304 listingsrivedroitebags.com catalogue

Each product name repeats up to 14 times, usually for different colours, under titles starting with Cheap, Best, Outlet, Clearance or Flash Sale. The colour never appears in the title.

03 · A €100 bag for $28.88rivedroiteparisstore.shop banner

The banner reads Jusqu'à 70% de réduction. The Elzévir weekend bag, €100 on the official French site, is listed at $28.88. The store runs to 42 pages of 12 products.

04 · The brand's own logo filerivedroiteparisstore.shop

The store serves Rivedroite's logo under the brand's own file name, logo-rivedroiteparis_500x.png, and the image is identical. The product photos we checked match the official ones within 2 to 5 bits of combined hash distance. Its meta description is a lightly reworded copy of the brand's.

The Darcy bag is listed 10 times

The catalogue on rivedroitebags.com looks built to fill search results. Its 304 listings share 52 product names. The Darcy alone appears ten times, as Store Darcytheantidiaperbag, New Darcytheantidiaperbag, Flash Sale Darcytheantidiaperbag and so on, mostly in different colours, at $80 to $100. Spaces are stripped from the names, and the tags include RIVEDROITE PARIS.

It works. A Google search for Rivedroite Paris with sale terms, excluding the brand's own site, put a rivedroitebags.com category page first. We placed no order, so we can't say what, if anything, a buyer would receive.

The French copy advertises 70% off

rivedroiteparisstore.shop targets French shoppers. Its first security certificate was issued on 14 June 2026. It uses Rivedroite's logo, French menus (Sacs, Accessoires, Le vestiaire, Naissance, Engagements), the brand's product names and descriptions, and photos we matched to the official French site. A banner at the top offers up to 70% off a selection of items.

Prices are in dollars, a little under the official euro prices. The Elzévir weekend bag, €100 on rivedroite-paris.com, is listed at $96.28, and the khaki version is cut to $28.88. The generic template shows through in places: Welcome to Our Store over a copied campaign photo, and three five-star reviews that mention no product.

Marketplaces showed only resale listings

The scanner's Amazon and eBay searches found a few Rivedroite listings: bags on Amazon's European sites and a handful of second-hand bags on eBay. Amazon returned no seller details, and we could not match these sellers to the brand, but we found nothing to suggest they are counterfeit. Alibaba and AliExpress returned Paris souvenirs and unrelated products, none using Rivedroite's name or photos.

Exact-image searches on six official product photos turned up Rivedroite's own sites and stockists, rivedroiteparisstore.shop pages already indexed by Google, and 13 unrelated websites, from small businesses to institutions, with pages titled after Rivedroite products. Those pages have nothing to do with bags. We count them as a minor finding and don't name them.

The scanner's automated lookalike-domain check missed both stores. Our manual sweep of brand-name combinations caught them. A third brand-name domain, rivedroite.shop, returned an error when we visited, so we could not see what it hosts.

How to shut it down

The takedown plan, step by step, built from the evidence above.

1

Report rivedroitebags.com first

It has run longest, ranks for sale searches and uses your US store's photos and text. Send the copied pages, with the official ones alongside, to its host and registrar.

2

Take down the French clone

Send rivedroiteparisstore.shop's host the identical logo file, the matching product photos and the copied French text.

3

Get the clone delisted from search

Ask search engines to remove the rivedroitebags.com pages that rank for Rivedroite sale searches, where shoppers are most likely to find it.

4

Sweep brand-name domains by hand

Automated lookalike checks missed both stores. Recheck brand-name combinations regularly, and keep an eye on rivedroite.shop.

Both official stores have a clone

Rivedroite runs two official stores, and each has a copy: an English one in dollars that mirrors the US site, and a French one that mirrors the home site down to the logo file. The older copy has been online for almost 21 months, filling search results with near-identical listings at about half the official price. A shopper searching for a Rivedroite sale can land there first.

On marketplaces we found resale listings only. For this brand, the exposure is fake stores copying its own sites, and neither used a name that an automated lookalike check picked up.
