116 fake Bobbies stores since 2022, one disposable domain at a time
Public scan archives captured 116 websites posing as Bobbies stores between November 2022 and May 2026, from bobbiesvip.com and frbobbies.com to dozens of .shop domains that look like people's names. None is still online. Our domain sweep found 6 Bobbies lookalike .com domains registered since November 2025, every one now on hold at its registrar. Our live scan of the Parisian shoe and leather-goods house found no fake store online today.

bobbiesireland.com scored a 90% visual match
Bobbies' homepage opens on two campaign photographs, one for women and one for men, under the bobbies Paris wordmark. The men's page leads with the FW26 High Altitude collection, with menus for the collection, the outlet, new arrivals, the brand and its stores.
bobbiesireland.com, captured by a public scanning service on 3 February 2026, used the same wordmark over a full-width photo of a man sitting on a rock among boots and loafers. A banner offered free shipping and returns above €55. The menu read Home, Men, Women and Service. Against Bobbies' men's page, our scanner rated it a likely copycat: 90% similarity, 96% confidence. It was registered on 13 November 2025, the same day and at the same registrar as bobbiesuk.com. Both are now on hold.
Each store borrowed the Bobbies name and photos for a few weeks. The next one was already waiting under a new name.
What we caught
Of the 116 domains, 13 use the brand name, such as bobbies-outlet.shop, bobbies-vip.shop and bobbiesireland.com. About 90 are built on what look like people's first and last names. 79 of those are .shop domains first captured between June 2024 and December 2025, which suggests the name was swapped each time a store went down.
43 stores used Bobbies' own page titles verbatim: Parisian Designer of Shoes and Leather Goods, or Maison parisienne de souliers et maroquinerie. 15 of the 17 captures we reviewed show the Bobbies name in the header. One store's hero image matches a Bobbies campaign photo at an image-hash distance of 0.
A store captured in January 2025 sold the Cambon briefcase for $82 to $97, against struck-through prices of $255 to $385. Bobbies' own French pages list the Cambon at €195 to €295. A German-language store captured in May 2026 advertised up to 80% off.
bobbiesofficial.com, bobbiesfr.com, bobbies-fr.com and bobbies-official.com were registered between 12 May and 31 August 2026 at the same registrar, each with a web certificate on day one. All four are on client hold, as are bobbiesuk.com and bobbiesireland.com.
The evidence, capture by capture

6 fake Bobbies stores, December 2023 to December 2025. Each uses the Bobbies wordmark and campaign-style photography.

A .shop store captured in December 2025 used a Bobbies campaign photograph. Image-hash distance: 0.

5 Cambon briefcases at $82 to $97 in January 2025. Bobbies' French pages list the Cambon from €195.

Up to 80% off, and an outlet menu translated as Steckdose, an electrical socket.

Where a hijacked search result led: a store selling search results, including photos of Bobbies boutiques, at $40.99 each.
The same store for 3 years, in 3 languages
Most early captures, from 2023 and early 2024, sit on .com domains, many of them people's names, with titles such as Bobbies Soldes Pour Femme & Homme - Jusqu'à 70% De Réduction. bobbiesvip.com, captured in December 2023, was decorated for Christmas and showed a pop-up claiming a shopper in the United States had just bought a pair. From mid-2024 the pattern moved to .shop: 79 domains, each titled with a name followed by a Bobbies page title, first captured at up to 13 a month.
The stores ran in French, English and German, and the translations give some away. A French store captured in December 2025 labelled its bestsellers Chaud Ventes, a word-for-word 'hot sales'. A German store captured in May 2026 put its outlet section under Steckdose, the German word for an electrical outlet. We reviewed archived captures of 17 of the 116 sites: 15 showed the Bobbies name in the header, one a broken logo and one an under-construction page. We could not see checkout pages and did not confirm who ran any of them. The shared habits point to a common template. They do not prove a common operator.
Suspended, then registered again
The 2026 domains show how fast the names turn over. bobbiesofficial.com was registered on 12 May and returned a server error when scanned two days later. bobbiesfr.com followed on 3 July, bobbies-fr.com on 29 July and bobbies-official.com on 31 August. Each registry record was last updated 2 to 6 days after registration, and all four are on client hold today. bobbies-fr.com had already been issued certificates in December 2025, before its current registration.
Other names went offline in other ways. discountonline-store.com, captured on 25 March 2026 with the page title bobbies, now shows a notice that the site was potentially malicious and is no longer online. Its registry record, like those of bobbiesuk.com and bobbiesireland.com, last changed on 1 April 2026. bobbiesoutlet.com, bobbies-outlet.com and bobbies-shoes.com were registered within seconds of each other on 6 May 2024 and show only a parking page. We could not tell who holds them.
A hijacked search page sold Bobbies boutique photos for $40.99
An exact-image search on Bobbies' photos returned 60 matches on 49 unrelated websites, from small businesses to institutions, reached through odd numbered web addresses. 56 matches used the photo from Bobbies' wedding-shoes category page, mostly under generic French titles about wedding shoes. Followed as a search visitor, one forwarded us to a .click store whose products were search results: press articles, a forum thread and photos of Bobbies' own boutiques, each at $40.98 or $40.99 against claimed prices of about $82.
The marketplace sweep found no counterfeit listings. Bobbies items on eBay were individual resales, such as a pair of Lloyd loafers for $140. Amazon, Alibaba and AliExpress returned products that share the name, from baby formula to bobby pins. Temu returned nothing. DHgate hosts search pages for bobbies shoe in several languages but blocked our automated access, so we could not see what they list.
How to shut it down
The takedown plan, step by step, built from the evidence above.
Archive the history of all 116 domains
Preserve the scan captures, page titles and registration records. That history is your strongest evidence that the stores belong to one long-running pattern.
Hand registrars the pattern
Four 2026 domains were put on hold at one registrar within days. Share the pattern of brand names, country codes and person-name .shop domains so new registrations get flagged faster.
File copyright notices on the photos
Build them on the campaign and product photographs, starting with the image that matches at a hash distance of 0.
Scan for new names every week
Watch for new domains pairing Bobbies with country codes, vip, outlet, official or online, and new .shop sites whose titles copy Bobbies' own page titles.
Bobbies' own page titles give the fakes away
No fake Bobbies store lasted long, and none is online today. The operation has still run for more than 3 years, swapping the domain each time. Every few weeks a new store offers Bobbies shoes and bags at a fraction of the price, to shoppers with every reason to think they are buying from Bobbies.
The page title is the best tell. Dozens of the stores copied Bobbies' titles word for word, and those are easier to catch than whatever domain the operators pick next.
