A fake Léo et Violette store copied 175 products, down to its packaging collection
leoetviolette.shop is a working store with Léo et Violette's name, logo, product photos and descriptions, selling 175 products at 65% off. It was the one live store among 100 lookalike domains we checked. We walked its full catalogue, compared its photos with the official ones and checked where its contact details lead. We also looked at marketplaces and at the sites where the brand's photos turned up.

Le Marcia, word for word, at $190.99
Léo et Violette sells leather bags and small leather goods; Le Marcia in bordeaux costs €470, or $565 on its US store. leoetviolette.shop puts the brand's wordmark on every page, uses a French menu and opens on a Trending Now row with every item marked -65%.
Its product pages carry the brand's descriptions word for word. The Marcia page gives the same dimensions, the same LWG-certified Italian tannery and the same Diapason clasp as the official listing, beside the same studio photograph.
The store never wrote a word about the bags. It took the brand's descriptions, photos and prices, then cut 65%.
What we caught
We sampled 12 products. Ten used Léo et Violette's own lead photograph, a match once the background was trimmed. The other two showed the same bags in photos that no longer match the official site's current images.
Every 'original' price we checked is the official euro price times about 1.161, shown in dollars. Le Marcia goes from €470 to $545.69, then to $190.99 after 65% off. A €50 gift card sells for $20.32.
The filters reuse the brand's own collection names, including ones not meant for shoppers: Homepage, and Packaging Taille S Kraft BigBlue. 146 of the store's 175 product addresses match products listed on leoetviolette.com today.
The only contact is an email at loetviolette.com, with the e missing. When we checked, that domain had no DNS records and no registration. A message sent to it could not reach anyone.
The evidence, page by page

The official bordeaux Marcia photo and the fake store's copy. With the background trimmed, they are the same image.

Every item in the Trending Now row is marked -65%. Le Marcia and Le Laurence both drop from $545.69 to $190.99.

The brand's gift card, with its official wording, from $20.32 for the €50 card.

The only contact is an email at loetviolette.com, a domain that was unregistered when we checked.

One of the 15 shops reached through compromised websites, selling a 'Le Duo' for $184 with a countdown timer. Shop name blurred.
146 product addresses match the official site
We counted 175 products across the store's 15 catalogue pages. 146 of the product addresses are identical to products leoetviolette.com lists today. Some of the rest point to older colourways, and at least one, a Gianni in black, no longer has a page on the official site. That suggests the catalogue was copied a while ago and topped up since.
The collection filters give it away. Next to real ranges like Collection Diapason and Cuirs lisses, the fake store lists Homepage and Packaging Taille S Kraft BigBlue. On the official site these appear to be internal groupings for building the homepage and handling packaging. Shoppers would never see them as categories. A script copying the store's product data would pick them up.
14-day returns on one page, 30 on another
The store contradicts itself. Its FAQ gives customers 14 days to return an item; its returns page promises 30 days, free returns and a prepaid label. The shipping page quotes €8 and €15 delivery while every product is priced in dollars. The homepage testimonials come from three named 'customers' and are tied to no product.
The contact page lists one email address, at loetviolette.com. That domain was unregistered when we checked, so nobody is there to answer. The registry refused our lookup, so we have no registration date for leoetviolette.shop. Certificate records show the domain in use since June 2024, with a new run of certificates from 27 May 2026.
A second lookalike, leoetvioletteoutlet.com, was registered on 5 June 2026. It served no site when we checked, but it resolved in DNS and had new certificates as recently as 16 August.
53 unrelated sites carry the brand's photos
Exact-image search on 12 official product photos returned 55 pages across 53 unrelated websites, from small businesses to institutions, that appear to have been compromised to host shopping search pages. Le Soft Laurence appeared most often, followed by Le Duo Bucket, Le Duo and Le Mini Duo. When we opened them, 19 of those pages redirected to 15 throwaway shops. One sold a 'Leo et Violette Le Duo' for $184, down from $575, with a description copied from a second-hand listing that still read 'Condition: LIKE NEW'.
Marketplaces were quieter. Amazon, Alibaba, AliExpress and Temu returned no bag listings using the Léo et Violette name. eBay showed five Léo et Violette bags at $285 to $749.99 that look like ordinary resale, and we found nothing to suggest otherwise. Our TikTok and ad-library checks did not run, so we can't speak to social media.
How to shut it down
The takedown plan, step by step, built from the evidence above.
Archive the fake store
Save the catalogue pages, product pages, prices, collection filters, contact page and certificate records for leoetviolette.shop before it moves.
Report it with your source files
File with the registrar and the hosting provider, attaching your original photo files and descriptions next to the fake store's copies.
Lock down the typo domain
Consider registering loetviolette.com, the unregistered domain behind the fake store's contact email, so that address can never go live.
Watch leoetvioletteoutlet.com
It is registered but empty. Monitor it, and new domains adding shop, store or outlet to the brand name, for a store going live.
A packaging filter gave the copy away
Nobody building a shop by hand would list Packaging Taille S Kraft BigBlue. It is there because the catalogue was lifted from Léo et Violette's own product data, internal labels included.
That makes the copy easy to prove. The photos, descriptions and prices all trace back to leoetviolette.com. A shopper with a problem has one way to reach the store, and it leads to a domain that does not exist.
