Rat & Boa only sells through its own website. A fake 'official' store copied all 416 products.
Rat & Boa's homepage title says it plainly: available online exclusively from our website. Our domain sweep found a second website that claims the same thing. ratandboaofficial.shop, registered on 14 June 2026, calls itself the official site and lists 416 products, the same number ratandboa.com had in its catalogue on the day of our capture. Most are marked 70% off. Three other Rat & Boa .shop domains had already been suspended by their registry.

What the scanner saw
The official Rat & Boa site is built around its photography: a serif wordmark, a short menu of New In, Shop All, Dresses, Occasion, Jewellery, and Our World, and full-bleed campaign images shot against painted walls and open sky. Prices are in sterling, and there is no sale banner.
ratandboaofficial.shop keeps the wordmark and swaps everything else for a generic store layout: a grey promotion bar reading Up to 70% Off Selected Items, a search box, a menu of New In, Clothing, Swim and Beach, Accessories, and Shop, and product pages with the brand's own descriptions and prices in dollars. On the day of our capture, its homepage hero image and several product images failed to load, but the product pages that did load showed Rat & Boa's photographs.
The real brand tells shoppers it only sells through its own website. The fake store simply claimed to be that website.
Four signals behind the finding
The domain adds one word, official, to the brand. The page title reads Shop exclusively online through our official site | Rat & Boa, a close paraphrase of the real site's own title, above the RAT & BOA wordmark.
The store lists 416 products across 35 pages. 385 use the exact product URL of an item on ratandboa.com, and the product descriptions we checked, including those for the Rheta Skirt and Theia Dress, are copied word for word.
The store served image files for 350 of its products. 305 of them match a Rat & Boa product photo once backgrounds are trimmed, 196 of them with an image-hash distance of zero, meaning the file is the same photograph.
The store's crossed-out prices are Rat & Boa's sterling prices, relabelled in dollars or converted at about 1.33. Every reduced item is exactly 70% off: the £925 Theia Dress shows $1,226.13, cut to $367.84.
The evidence, page by page

How the catalogue was copied
We downloaded every product listed on the fake store and compared it with the public catalogue on ratandboa.com. Both had 416 products. 385 of the fake store's product addresses match a live Rat & Boa product exactly. The other 31 carry Rat & Boa-style names, such as Fantini, Farretti, and Mazari, that we could not find in the current official catalogue.
The prices follow the same pattern. For 64 items, including every new arrival on its homepage, the store shows Rat & Boa's sterling price with a dollar sign: the £165 Rheta Skirt appears as $165.00, reduced to $49.50. Older items were converted at about 1.33 dollars to the pound. The store even lists Rat & Boa's gift cards, with a £100 Gift Card at $39.76, down from $132.55.
A store with nobody behind it
The store's contact page gives a single address: support@ratboa.com. The domain ratboa.com is not registered, so that address cannot receive mail. A shopper who pays and never receives an order has no one to write to, except the real Rat & Boa.
The rest of the store is template filler. A Why Choose Us block promises global express shipping, exclusive design pieces, and a secure checkout. The FAQ claims orders ship within 24 hours and that the store accepts all major cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Klarna. The About page describes Rat & Boa as a contemporary fashion house for the global wanderer, in wording we did not find on the official site.
The lookalikes that are already gone
Three more Rat & Boa .shop domains were on registry hold, so none of them could resolve: ratandboastore.shop, registered on 13 April 2026, ratandboashop.shop, registered on 3 May, and ratandboaboutique.shop, registered on 17 September and last updated five days later. ratandboashop.shop used the same registrar as the live store, and both used Cloudflare nameservers. ratandboa.net and ratandboa.org were registered in 2014 and showed blank pages.
The marketplace sweep was mostly noise. A brand called Rat & Boa shares its words with the snake-feeding trade, so Amazon and Alibaba returned frozen feeder rats, rat traps, and plush toys, and AliExpress returned unrelated goods. eBay showed second-hand Rat & Boa resale, plus one listing openly titled as a Rat And Boa dupe. Temu, TikTok Shop, and ads returned nothing. An exact-image search on 12 official photos found two hijacked websites indexed with Rat & Boa product images and a handful of resale and editorial pages, but no marketplace listings passing the photos off as their own.

File with the registrar and host
Send the registrar and the hosting provider behind the store's address one evidence package each, pointing to the 305 matched photographs and the copied product text.
Use the photographs
Pair each copied image with its original file on ratandboa.com. Copied photography is among the easiest claims to prove and often the fastest route to removal.
Watch the .shop names
The registry has already suspended three Rat & Boa .shop domains. Monitor new registrations that add official, store, shop, or boutique to the brand.
The detail worth remembering
Rat & Boa's strongest defence is also its clearest message: it sells only through its own website. The fake store did not argue with that. It borrowed the sentence, added the word official to a domain, and copied the whole catalogue underneath.
Three of the brand's lookalike domains were suspended before we reached them. The one that stayed up was the one that looked most like the real thing, down to the gift cards.
