shopmercihandy.shop is a live copy of the Merci Handy store that sells the brand's 30 ml hand gels for $1.22. An exact-image search on the brand's product photos led to a second shop, on a domain named after vintage postcards, listing 101 Merci Handy products at 60% off under the brand's own stock codes. Our domain sweep checked more than 900 lookalike names. Certificate records and archive captures added seven more .shop domains that have carried the brand's name since 2024. shopmercihandy.shop is the one live today.

The hand gel page, copied down to the cassava line
On mercihandy.com, the Flower Power hand gel page shows the pink 30 ml bottle on a pale grey background, the Merci Handy script logo, 151 reviews and a description that opens Gel mains nettoyant naturel à emporter partout avec toi. The gel costs €3.00.
shopmercihandy.shop has the same bottle, photograph and description, down to the line about alcohol from cassava cleaning your hands at intergalactic speed. Its price box reads $1.22, Original: $3.48, -65%. The page title copies the brand's slogan, Rendre l'ordinaire extraordinaire, and the contact page gives an email address on the mercihandy.com domain.
The store rewrote nothing. It took the catalogue, the photos and the product text, and added a -65% badge.
What we caught
The sitemap lists 164 products, all added on 22 May 2026 within the same minute, 08:39 UTC, the day the domain was registered. 129 of their web addresses match Merci Handy's own product addresses exactly, including internal free-gift items the brand's shop uses behind the scenes.
The Flower Power hand gel page reuses Merci Handy's packshot at a combined image-hash distance of 4, where 0 means identical, and its second photo matches exactly. The description is copied word for word from mercihandy.com.
Hand gels that cost €3.00 on mercihandy.com are listed at $3.48, and four are marked down to $1.22 with a -65% badge. The store also sells the brand's Rainbow Card gift card for $34.84. The official card starts at €30.
A site titled Cartes Postales Rétro lists more than 50,000 beauty products. 101 carry Merci Handy tags, and 83 use the exact stock codes from Merci Handy's own catalogue. 98 are priced at 60% off the official price and three at 70% off.

A store built in under a minute
shopmercihandy.shop was registered on 22 May 2026. Its sitemap shows all 164 products added that morning in under a minute, which points to an automated import. Most of its web addresses are Merci Handy's own. Some are internal items the official store uses for free gifts, which a real reseller would have no reason to list.
Pricing follows one rule. The struck-through price is the official euro price converted to dollars ($3.48 for a €3.00 gel, $8.71 for the €7.50 Hello Sunshine starter pack), and the featured gels are then cut by 65%. The rest of the site doesn't add up. The shipping page lists Colissimo and Chronopost rates in euros while the shop charges in dollars, and the returns page promises both 14 days and a 30-day window. None of the pages we opened gives a company name or address.
A vintage-postcard domain sells the Scorpion gel for €1.20
The image search found Merci Handy packshots on cartespostalesretro.com, a domain registered in November 2025 whose homepage title still promises animal illustrations and vintage postcards. The shop behind it, branded CARRETRO, lists more than 50,000 products from many beauty brands. Its Merci Handy range includes zodiac hand gels, body serums, deodorant packs and the Galaxy gel kit.
The Gel Mains Nettoyant Scorpion page shows €3.00 struck through and €1.20 as the price, with stock code MH-GEL-30-SCO-EU-19, the same code Merci Handy uses for that gel. Its product image matches the official packshot. Of the 83 items with official stock codes, 72 show Merci Handy's exact price as the crossed-out price. We placed no order and cannot say what, if anything, a buyer would receive.
9 brand-name .shop domains since 2024
Archive captures show brand-name .shop domains have been used before. Between October 2024 and March 2025, mercihandy.shop, mercihandyeur.shop and mercihandyava.shop all ran the same store, titled achats en ligne mercihandy, selling unrelated menswear. In June 2025 merci-handy.shop showed a copy of the brand's English-language homepage. mercihandybeauty.shop used the brand name for a multi-brand discount store in 2024. It was registered again on 6 May 2026, showed the same template as shopmercihandy.shop a week later, and is now on hold. None of these domains resolves today. Certificate records show two more, mercihandyri.shop and mercihandyselect.shop.
The rest was calmer. mercihandy.de is for sale, mercihandy.net has no working website, and merci-handy.com, registered in October 2025, shows a closed-store page. We could not tell who owns it. eBay returned 20 listings of Merci Handy products, mostly single sealed items between $6 and $30, and the Amazon results included the brand's own US storefront. We found no reason to call any of these sellers unauthorised. Alibaba and AliExpress returned unrelated phones and tools, because Handy means mobile phone in German. The image search also turned up seven unrelated websites indexed with Merci Handy product titles, which suggests they were compromised.
