A fake AMI Paris store listed 1,148 products in one day, and a $1,890 bag for $159.99
amiparis.shop listed 1,148 products, every one created on the day we scanned it. That is more than AMI's own store carries. Our domain sweep found 27 AMI Paris lookalike domains registered or live, and three working stores posing as AMI: amiparis.shop, amiparisshop.fr and amiparisstore.com.

Same page, same REF code, new price
AMI's product pages follow a set pattern: the ami alexandre mattiussi wordmark, a grid of studio and campaign photos on the left, and a product panel on the right with the price, a size selector and a description that ends in a reference number.
amiparis.shop reproduces that page almost exactly. It puts the same wordmark in the same header and fills the same grid with the same photos. The white tulip T-shirt carries AMI's own description, ending in REF: UTS418.JE0260.100. The price is what changed: $74.98, crossed out at $149.96. The scanner rated the store a likely copycat at 95% visual similarity with 97% confidence.
amiparis.shop copied AMI's pages and kept AMI's reference numbers. It changed the price.
What we caught
100 products on amiparis.shop sit at the same web address as on amiparis.com. The descriptions are copied word for word, down to AMI's own reference codes such as UTS418.JE0260.100.
The store serves AMI's own studio photos. Its white Ami de Coeur tulip T-shirt image matches the official file almost exactly, as do the grey wool polo and beige tank top we checked.
1,135 of the 1,148 products are exactly 50% off, under a banner reading ENDS TODAY THE AMI SALE - 50% OFF. The tulip T-shirt is $260 on AMI's US site and $74.98 on the fake.
The crossed-out prices are not AMI's. Across the 100 copied products they sit at a median 79% of AMI's real US price, so the 50% comes off an invented figure.

amiparis.shop runs on a hosted store platform whose product feed logs when each item was created. All 1,148 products were created on 25 September 2026, the day of our scan. AMI's official store lists 681 products. The fake carries more.
On the 100 exactly copied products, the fake charges a median 39% of AMI's US price. Leather goods show the widest gap. AMI sells its Black Smooth Leather Carrousel Medium Bag for $1,890 and its brown goat leather overshirt for $2,390. amiparis.shop lists both at $159.99.
2 more stores live, 3 lookalikes already suspended
amiparisshop.fr, registered on 23 May 2026, is a French-language store titled Boutique Mode Parisienne Luxe. It uses the AMI wordmark, a contact address at amiparisshop.fr and a Paris street address under AMI's name. The scanner rated it a likely copycat at 88% similarity. amiparisstore.com calls itself the Official Ami Paris Store. It was registered in November 2025 through a privacy-focused registrar and rated 78%.
More names are waiting in the wings. amiparisofficial.com pointed to a store platform showing a shop-unavailable page, and amiparisstyle.com, registered in June 2026, did not respond. Three lookalikes were already suspended or being deleted: amiparisstore.shop, amiaris.com and amiparisuk.com.
The Ami heart sells in bulk from €1.05 on Alibaba
Alibaba returned wholesale listings under the brand name. Bundles of Ami Paris sweaters sell as random product shipments at €1.05 to €1.41 each. Bulk Ami Paris Kids printed T-shirts start at €2.66. Embroidered Ami heart shirts at €14 to €16 put the Ami name under a red heart, echoing the Ami de Coeur logo. On AliExpress, an AMI PARIS banner at €5.89 and an a-mi De Coeur AMI cushion cover at €7.49 print AMI's heart-over-A mark. Both sites showed a verification step before product pages, so we report these listings from search data and did not open them one by one.
The exact-image search also returned an Alibaba listing for women's trousers and Temu pages in Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain against AMI's trouser packshot. Side by side, those are similar black trousers and do not use AMI's photograph. eBay returned second-hand AMI pieces at normal resale prices.

Every fake order points back to AMI
Every product page on amiparis.shop carries AMI's reference code and AMI's photo. A shopper who pays $159.99 for the Carrousel bag believes they bought from AMI. If the order never arrives, or arrives looking nothing like the photo, the complaint lands with AMI.
The store also moved fast. A catalogue bigger than AMI's own went up in one day, and three other lookalikes were already suspended. These stores are built to be replaced, so the time to act is while they are live.
